BIRCH CONES

Birch cones are from the tree Betula occidentalis and are similar in appearance to Alder cones.  They release a good amount of tannins making it a longtime favorite cone to use in shrimp tanks, betta tanks, and its a popular choice for the blackwater aquarium
 
QTY - 25 BIRCH CONES
Size .75-1.25"
 
PREPARATION-
Steep for 30 min
Strain then Soak in Freshwater for 12+ hours
Add to tank (They may take a few days to sink)
